Preparation time: 20 min
Difficulty: easy
Serves 2
Ingredients:
7 oz/200 g plain tofu
a bunch of fresh basil
a bunch of fresh rosemary
a bunch of fresh oregano
tamari
balsamic vinegar
Thinly slice the tofu and place the slices with herbs one by one to a bowl where the tofu will marinate. Add a few spoons of tamari and balsamic vinegar to every layer of the tofu and herbs. It is best that the whole tofu is soaked in the marinade. If you don’t have fresh herbs, you may use dried ones. Put the tofu in the fridge for at least a few hours, but it’s even better to leave it there overnight. Use it within a few days.
You can break it up with your hands and add it as a topping to a dish or you can pan-fry it. It also goes well in a vegetable sandwich.
Use your imagination and tailor the recipe to your taste. Enjoy creativity and Bon Appetit.
